Ametrine Earrings

This special gemstone is called Ametrine. It is a blending of amethyst and citrine. When viewed from the sides and back, it has a clear definition of purple and yellow sections. When viewed from the front, the two contrasting colors blend together into rich cognac brown with bright yellow highlights and pink undertones.

A gemstone this unique and beautiful demands an equally special ear post. I molded mirroring pieces of antique filigree and reproduced them in sterling silver. They are stamped 925 on the post and come with scroll clutches.

Earrings measure a total of 53mm long (2.125 inches).
