Blue and Black Earrings

Fiery labradorite, sparkly lapis, and smooth obsidian combine in the unique pair of intarsia gemstones. The labradorite is dark gray from some angles and flashes a brilliant purple-blue from others.

I wire wrapped each stone with sterling silver and suspended them from ornate sterling ear posts. I blackened all of the silver with liver of sulfur and tumbled for a high shine.

Earrings measure a total of 50mm (2 inches) long.
