Each side of this beautiful oval movement is perfectly framed by ornate brass filigree. Both the face side and movement side are attractive enough to wear up. I love how the numbers appear to squish and tilt to fit in the frame.

Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams.
Normally, I'm kind of 'meh' about watch faces as I usually prefer the movement side, but this one is great. Definitely one of the few I'd wear face up - if it were mine to wear.
