Thank you so much for this tutorial. It's great and easy to follow. I sat down and really tried to do digital art for the very first time (I started off with normal resolution because I didn't know any better and once I got to painting the irises I wondered why mine was all blurry. Tried upping the resolution to 200ppi and voila! MUCH better. So I had to learn the hard way!) Anyway, all I have is a mouse and this is my first real thing to produce...I think it turned out darn well for a beginner and a lot of credit goes to your tutorial. I can now take these ideas and techniques to other things. I wanted to share what I did:
Very nice! I love the beautiful colors in the irises and the way they shine. The part of the nose you have on the face already is gorgeous - but I assume you're asking for a tutorial on the tip of the nose / nostril area? I'm sure I'll get to one soon, but for now I'd recommend Linda Bergkvist's website [link] in which she has many useful tutorials on how to draw people. Thanks for sharing your work! It makes me happy to see that people are helped by my tutorials .

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.

The number of colors used in the face really make it look realistic. I need to try that....

I'd like to request a nose tutorial if you ever get the time as that's what seems the hardest to me!
