This was made with Swarovski's newest finish: Purple Haze, a wonderfully antique-looking color. Purple haze is mostly a pale rose-violet, with sparkles of gold, blue, and green. It makes a wonderful complement for antiqued brass.
The watch movement is an intact Gruen, which has gold text and four genuine rubies on its face. I've also added a little Purple Haze crystal on the large gear.  More info and pics at its Etsy listing: [link] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. And I love Purple Haze on the flatter crystals, but it's really pale (almost to the point of non-existance) on bicones and rounds. Definitely worth checking out!
